Case Study of Maryam her Business
Mariyam lives village Ismail Kumbhar of union council Ismail Kumbhar district Mirpur Khas. 2 years ago Mariyam has joined CIIP. She was happy to join CIIP as a member of RMTs. after graduation from CIIP today she has a successful business. She has gotten training from CIIP and learnt a lot from these training, in the first training I learnt about basic health, hygiene and maintenance of earthen road. Marriyam has also attended the BBM training and planned for her business. She has saved some money from her salary .She told that ,from saving I bought a rickshaw and given that on rent but the business turned unprofitable I had been sold the rickshaw and started a business of merchandise shop ,
As Maryam is illiterate and unable to keep record of her shop properly and resulting she bear loss in her business , because she could not spend sufficient time to the shop because Maryam was engaged in maintaining the roads. After 18 months Maryam had been provided training of basic business management in which she learnt a lot that how can she make her business successful. In the numerical session she learnt counting and calculation. After receiving the saving, as per my business plan Maryam has been invested her all saving amount in her nephew’s already running merchandize shop. Now she receives PKR 800 to 1000 weekly profit income. From the amount now Maryam has started selling food items at her homes and earned PKR 150 to 200 per day. Now Maryam is happy to see her business growing up. Maryam is thankful to Takhleeq Foundation for providing job to her and enabling her to sustain her livelihood through business in respectable manners.
