Group Business of Ghulam Khatoon & Raheeman

53 old  Ghulam Khatoon having 2 children and 55 old Raheeman having  3 children to take care of. These both ladies were widows After the  death of husband both   faced too many difficulties to carry on  routine life and to arrange basic needs for their children. GHulam Khatoon   was sweating out by putting efforts in the agriculture lands and was less paid since women do more labor  yet not paid up to daily wages equal to men that also hindered the way to lead happy life, while the livelihood of Raheeman was only depends on Ralli making  which is a slow process to earn money, and her eyes sight  affected with that work and Doctor suggested her to do not work like this otherwise she will be suggested for an eye operation.  They both hardly earn 1200 per Month which were not sufficient to fulfill their wish to educate their children and maintain a good living standard for their r families. In 2010 Takhleeq Foundation team visited their village Mubarik Khaskheli UC Meer Ghulam Hussain District Mirpurkhas for the implementation of CIIP (Community Infrastructure Improvement Project). Takhleeq Foundation Team identified them as one of the most vulnerable families based on their poverty situation @ that time and selected them for RMT (Road Management Team).Despite initial resistance from their  families  and from the people of their Villages , They decided to come out from their houses and do work with the financial support from Takhleeq Foundation. Our work is to maintain rural earthen road and community infrastructures and time duration was 2 years. They were received 2250 fortnightly. This was a good Income to maintain their living standard. Raheeman have repaired her house with this Income and purchased a Motorcycle for his Son as her Village is very far from the City so this vehicle is helpful for her family and for the people of her village to quick access to the city in any emergency.
